Nick Seaver is an Associate on Burness’ Health & Science Advocacy team. He joined Burness in 2007 and has worked on a variety of projects that range from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Public Health portfolio and Broadcast Health Series, to Consumers Union, the Mayday Fund, The Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement, and Research!America’s Paul G. Rogers Global Health Research Ambassadors. On these projects he has worked on media outreach efforts, research, writing and the development of new and social media strategies.
As a part of the Burness Health & Science Advocacy Institute, Nick has been involved in more than 40 media, messaging and communications workshops. Additionally, he works developing new curricula and content for these sessions, focusing on both traditional media and on the development of new and social media tools and strategies.
Nick’s prior experience includes interning in the press office of Senator Max Baucus and at Common Cause. He is a 2007 graduate of the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs with a bachelor of arts in Political Communication.
